I was wondering if any other local ULC ministers would like to meet for a get togethe ULC party ?I want to meet other locals that has also been ordained through this wonderful site. I love Austin! I will be going there in a few weeks, and I recommend that city to visitors above all other cities in Texas.

Austin is premiere among all Texas cities for accomodating new religious thought and learning from the different cultures of others. It is the city in Texas for a ULC meeting.

Unfortunately, this is an international message board and targeting a single city probably will not generate response beyond just a few people. However, I recommend for arranging local meetings. Craiglist covers every major city in the country and already has a huge base for organizing local events just like this.

I assure you that if you post a date and a place to meet then your gathering will be successful. May I suggest that you contact a local church and arrange for ULC to have an informal gathering there, perhaps as part of a Sunday school lesson? Most churches accomodate such requests with spare space at no charge and with little planning, particularly if you just give a week's notice, give an itinerary, and use the space at a time when the church is already conducting business.

ULC Monastery ministers often do well to associate themselves with several other local established churches. Make contacts - the more friends you make the luckier you will be when planning events.

Post your news on craigslist Austin - that is how I find events when I travel, and if I see your event I will attend.
