The legality of your supposed check is in question, not to mention I have not accessed your web page in over a year? Not to mention the tasteless avatar picture you have as a moderator, I have little faith in your "virus check" or your ability to pair me to any particular ISP. So what you have here is nonsense. I dont take tests for you, and I certainly dont need an account here.

Your methodology is neither stated, nor was it included in the TOS I have on record for being asked to join the site added with my original initiative with the church. So if this spam is not handled by your superiors, I will be looking forward to any banning you think you can accomplish against me. For it will in fact be one of your final days as moderator here.

You are quite right and it is an ongoing problem on this site. As a moderator, I personally have no way to monitor pm's that go out to other members from spammers, but once we are notified we can delete that account. The problem is that they can re-invent themselves easily and return under a different moniker. I will locate his account and suspend him indefinitely. I apologize for your inconvenience. I was just about to report JamesWilliams myself.

These people make a convincing looking scan of a Windows machine on their sites, presumably your Windows computer. Trouble is, I run GNU/Linux, so I know the scan they show wasn't from my machine, just a clever web based fake trying to entice the unwary to download a trojan. Security-Tool is confirmed mal ware.

I administer a number of forum sites.
We are constantly getting hit with these types of accounts which we catagorize as advertizers/spammers.
My recommendation would be to change your policy on member approval. Manually approve all member requests. Check their IP and email and don't approve suspicious ones.
So far we've been able to stop these accounts 99.9% of the time.
Yes it's time consuming for our moderation/administration staff but it works.

I am so sick and tired of all these spam messages that since february I have been asking and begging to be taken off of the forum as they have removed all ways to remove yourself. I have even asked to have my ordination revoked and got a reply making me a revrend for life instead of this church.

As far as I am concerned with all this spam being allowed, this is a fake organization. I have had issues in the past and have noticed that it is more commercial then religion here.

All I want is out o fall of this and to not have to deal with the fake garbage no more and I cant even get that from them.

okay I'm a little tired of the whining if you wanna moan then go right ahead somewhere else attention grabber first of all spam is not something the board is doing therefore they can only delete any new accounts the individuals yes there's more than one are doing this, and all they need to do is open a new account. do you read news on the internet? how many have comments about someone who met a millionaire on meet a millionaire.com or some other nonsense. so if you think somethings amiss DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!! second off your ordination, and you're membership on the forum are two separate things. Delete your account, and write to the office in paper, or email, or phone yes you can do it ministers have to usually work harder than that just to get through the door. As for this organization being fake because it allows spam, and is commercial you're kidding the first stupid comment has been addressed, as for the second stupid comment a church MUST BE COMMERCIAL!!!! Donations rarely cover the breadth of services a church including this one offers. How do you think they buy the stationary, procure the clothes, make template documents? Design the website correctly run outreach programs, pay for the website? Can one church support the needs of over 1 million ministers, priests, and what have you? No they need money to do it. So case in point if you don't like it here then get lost because we probably don't want you here go be happy somewhere else.

well lets see no selling anything obnoxious entitled whining, and a certain delusion about church sponsored spamming (the same as pornography in my eye) looks real to me.

He/She has a valid point (deliveries a little off) but it's right basically I am tired of spammers like the one who flooded the forum with that gibberish for twenty pages.

only problem was the delivery a slight tweak would have made the point, and set everyone at ease while doing so, and howsabout ratting on the spammer wizards.
they get paid you know so my thoughts are to get their ip address, and then send tons, and tons of invites to every adult website we can find. That'll get the message across after they can keep the computer from crashing, advertisements for ######, need to go too. Anywhere else but a forum of ministers please.

I still suggest changing membership to require intervention by administration. Then you need to check the IP/Domain/Host/Email of the new accounts and make sure they don't come from suspect locations.

This really isn't a difficult task, just time consuming.
