I am A man who has a family with a little girl my fiance is very important to me she is becoming my world, and I think about how some aren't allowed to have this recognition simply because they are different despite the fact I am Straight I cannot, and will not tolerate this policy. First it was the Native Peoples then the blacks, then the Italians, then the Irish, then the Chinese, then the Mexicans, and it seems everyone has a Jew joke these days. We aren't happy unless we are busy tarring someone with the inferiority brush to make ourselves feel better. The L.G.B.T. community is made up of flesh, bone, sinew, blood, nerve tissue, and so on....so are we odd huh? Far as I am concerned we are all one race, and species that being Homosapien we killed our brother race during our cave dwelling days, and now we are all one. Therefore this strife is ignorance, and stupidity at it's best two of the orders condemned sins. Thus war will be one because they will lose in the face of the progressive the archaic will falter their steps unclean, and their attitudes unhealthy.

Don't worry one of these days they will figure out what the drill instructor once told us in basic training. There is only one color of people in the military ... Green.

Odd that they haven't gotten rid of the don't ask don't tell yet but I suspect that the majority of the guys there don't give a rats backside who's fighting next to them as long as they aren't fighting against them. Personally I would have felt much more comfortable if the homosexual guys could come out and know who was checking me out in the group showers and who wasn't; it pretty much looked like everyone was checking everyone out to see who was looking and well that meant we all were looking doesn't it.

Eventually all citizens will have their rights recognized and maybe we won't have to write extra laws to say that group B already had all the rights of group A but they needed to be enforced at the threat of group A's rights being taken away.

States should get out of the marriage business and just start granting the privileges under the proper name civil union whether homosexual or straight or any other weird combination of gender identification. Marriage is a religious right and that is the property of the church which the state has no competence lawfully over.

And I too am a married white man... of course I still have a bit of green in my veins. I think our president has a bit of yellow in his veins since he has yet to order the elimination of the don't ask don't tell policy; which is worse than an outright ban since it allows the foolishness to go on under the guise of being an improvement. I think there should be a measure passed to undo the federal recognition of marriage as anything other than a civil union and to recognize the civil union as the grounds for tax and other rights, benefits, and privileges. This would make more sense and would completely unravel the wacko right's and the wacko left's game of catch and keep away with the rights of the people.
