Hello all.
My name is Michael. I am a student at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. I am attending a sociology of religion course and I would appreciate it if anyone would be willing to share any info they have on the Unitarian Universal faith. I am primarily seeking general info on the beliefs and practices of the faith in general. As new questions arise, I'll post them here. If anyone in the clergy is available to do an e-mail interview, please PM me. It would be greatly appreciated.
I thank everyone for your help in advance.
Blessed be,
Michael Goetz II
I'm sure we're all pretty honored to be consulted in this matter however we are by nature the denomination Universal Life not Unitarian Universalist. The main difference is we have all ministers, priests, and rabbis under one denomination whereas the Unitarian Universalist movement seems christian oriented, and other religions are established into separate wings I beleive Cuups is one such wing, and can be googled on the web. Another principle difference is in the education required. UU ministers are required to attend seminary of which there are few. I hope this helped some, I can try to help further if you like.
