So today I performed my very first wedding. I had a couple of hiccups along the way do to nerves but all and all it went really well. I actually had a 75 yr old minister, traditionally ordained through seminary and such, who happened to be the grandmother of the bride commend me on a job well done! wink.gif Plus just about every young person there told me I was "the coolest Rev. ever and if they ever get married they want me to marry them! I couldn't have asked for more. It was truly spectacular. As redneck as the wedding was, it was all and all very beautiful and I can't even begin to describe the feeling of accomplishment upon my completion. It's one of those things that will stick with me for the rest of my life and I hope, God willing, to do it many more times in my years to come. For those of you who haven't or perhaps haven't even planned to perform a wedding. I'm telling you, you have to do it once! It is truly fulfilling and the rewards will stick with you! It's a high I can't explain! A wonderful experience and makes you feel truly connected to the world. For me personally, I've succeeded in things and have enjoyed the fruits of my labor but this was truly one for the record books! I've never felt so accomplished! I'm filled with joy that I could oversee such a momentous occasion and be a part of bringing two people whose love became abundantly obvious with every prayer and word I spoke and every vow they made to one another as the ceremony went on. I truly felt like I had added something to the world that up until this point had been missing! I apologize for the rant, but honestly in the top 5 of my life experiences! Simply put... Beautiful!! wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

Dear Rev.Kyle,

Sorry this is so late but allow me to add my congratulations as well. I have read all of your posts and I can't help but be impressed with your wonderful choice of words. You sound very expressive and sincere, and I believe you have been blessed with an obvious rare gift to breathe life into words.

May God continue to bless you and keep you strong in His service.

Rev. Campbell.
