Ah so I did decide to do another tuesday night special.

I stopped with my ruminations on the opinion of others on my ministry. Well let's continue this little trip down memory lane shall we. Just after that I noticed a troubling trend firstly individuals found me through witchvox, and they came in groups almost like they were unconsciously reaching out to others to have safety in numbers. We have always been a small, and elect group, and will continue to be so if I have anything to say about it. Irreguardless they sent emails to me with email addresses that worked for a short period of time, or they sent emails without so much as a direction to look for a smoke signal. Oi dumb dumb dumb let me say it again DUMB!!!! of course the reason I say this is due largely to the fact that I have been propositioned on a number of occasions for advice, students wishing to base their mid term papers off of me (Boy what a story that'll become my interview with the dark witch....). Many other highly intelligent individuals knew what the email line is for, and used it, but never anyone it seems that asked me for help minus one which i'll cover later keeping all confidential info just that as we make that promise. No after these dunderheads say their peace, and fade into obscurity (Stupidity is a sin in the order seriously not joking it is look it up). This amused me more than anything else as I saved these emails as I do with all emails for later deployment if necessary. To my knowledge I still have every religious related email ever sent to me minus the alerts to new posts I get. I decided to simply ignore them as they were not serious what was I to do? Put a pendulum on a map, and intone oh great god of idiots reveal the location of said dunderhead, and his blasted email so I can return his request? Anyway while these happened I also started getting requests for memberships with suspicious names that were to say the least suggestive, and if they were real their parents hated them as well as the emails from jesus with numbers at my yahoo email damning me to heck of course to which I politely agreed to confirm reservations right next to them for the trip.

Ah my best accomplishment though is my theories on darkness, and light, and the darkness that is positive instead of evil. Goes something like this absolute good, and evil need to be here for their own sake, and need to be in the purest forms meaning devoid of the other for pure good, and evil to exist. Darkness itself is always associated with evil yet we never go to a brightly lit room to calm down, or heal always relative darkness with soft music sometimes. That got me to thinking if something culturally feared was truly as it was claimed to be then it couldn't heal one is not the other. They both must exist for their to be free choice which violates my earlier premise about being their for thier own sake, and they always exist in different quantities even serial killers, and rapists love someone, or something in their lives despite their terrible crimes they have that light in their lives. So that violates the premise concerning mandatory purity (Which the closest thing we see is amoral another word for neutral) see where I am going? So I decided to base alot more of my beleif on the wiccan power derived from solar, and lunar sources. Darkness being the medium of space that light travels through to warm our little planet, and night time when it is peaceful psychically, and literally, and finally spiritually as in the balancing of the soul so as to live in the grey, and be neutral, and live as all existence is created to be.

We are hairy primates shaking our fists at the sky giving our gods names, powers, domains, and such, but that is really such a small part. I suggest they care little for our codifying their true nature other than the warmth expressed in hero worship. More important (at least it would be to me) is action with their fellow man. So I have been dedicated to blessed darkness of positivity for some time now seeing truth in every religion yet moving in my own circles developing close associates which formed my congregation, and weeding out the rebellious, the ignorant, and the scare family approaches. Individuals seemed to ;pve screaming lookie daddy i'm a witch which usually ends up in catholic school (don't you feel stupid now?)

My path set I wandered through life the gods allowing me to have what I need when I need it knowing my wasteful nature, and tendency to spend wastefully in particular I have been allowed to move by with just enough. For which I am grateful, and above all in my faith I have a tactile sensation associated with worship which was absent in my Episcopalian days. When I pray, or conduct rituals, I feel them like a blanket of warmth, and also like someone watching you from behind. Psychologically speaking that could also be my desire for closeness with divinity manifesting as an apparition of the senses so I motion that such gossip be stricken from the record BANG done. More important was the listing of a reward for service such as that.

As I stated before I would elaborate on a situation I dealt with which bears repeating pagans are loath to let the world know of our abilities but irresponsible people are in all the sects of the world. A man we shall name the pagan from here on out came to me after some email, and phone discourse the black apostle of AZ was there (equivalent of a cardinal in duties, and responsibilities). The Pagan was slowly dying his life was torn to shreds his job lost, numerous health problems, and to top it off spirit attachment. After some lengthy discussion with the individual to get the state of his mind (determine wether or not I needed the guys with white outfits, and butterfly nets which I do not diagnose merely see if this falls within my scope of services, and I was satisfied that it did indeed do so). I decided to do acouple of things firstly the problems started first from a spirit originally located in another country where he resided, and secondly from another practitioner who insidiously used a letter with his name, and the infinity symbol lain in a circle of salt (to keep the pure maliciousness contained inside of it, and trick the individual into accepting it into his body bypassing natural divinity defenses a sthorough study of the artifact was made pre burning), and placed a message through family that such a thing was waiting for him. He picked it up, and uneashed the beast so to speak. For those new to Wicca we don't curse others it's against our beleifs even for self defense. I picked up said envelope, and what struck me the most was the pure malice of it. It hated me was the best way to put it like it was a living thing (Such was not my psychic, or witch sense just my physical sense) Being shielded as I am it couldn't harm me, or mine however it was from just plain contact such a hateful thing of pure malice that I burned it, and performed the ritual of exorcism on him (Killing two birds with one stone). Flash foreward six months later The as I checked in with the pagan to see how he was doing. It turns out better the health problems were fixing themselves, though the career was still the same for another so many months until that too was fixed. The Pagan calls every now, and again to appraise me of his development.

I mention this to state the severity, and variety of situations I encountered. I never charge for such things as it is an affront to our beleifs. As I dealt with these things I have performed several exorcisms exorcising spirits, worse than them, and unhealthy habits (which works well as a psychodrama) getting the spirit behind the addiction to unhealthy life styles rather than literally driving the negativity out.

I found peace, and solace in my position, and one more monniker the addition of the title originally thought to mean oath breaker, yet also referreed to ancient ministers of state who advised royalty, and were thought of as gentlemen of god, and advisors to royalty called the Warlock it stands for individuality unwavering, passion for what interests you, a desire to do what you feel is right, but was perverted by many to mean a male witch, even the dictionary has such a definition; so I sought to create a new generation of gentle men, and women of gods, with emphasis on individuality. The result....slow; changing an emplaced definition even if only for the last fifty years takes time, and adding a positive connotation to something thought of as evil in a religion thought of as evil as well is diffucult, but slowly such a dream is coming to pass. Well mannered dark witches, and warlocks, sorcerrors (Who deal with spirits such as angels, and other summoned spirits for knowledge, and divination, and the mage our atheistic branch who perceives magic to be psychodrama, and religion a tool of self motivation, and encouraqgement of accomplishment.

My work causes me such pride that positivity is being brought into the thing thought evil as let's face it we think darkness is evil because it obscures the senses, making it hard to protect ones self so does alcohol, and narcotics.

Well this may be the beginning of a good thread we'll see when you read this please read it for quality as it sounds like it might make you nervous about me. However I explain the concept of positive darkness well, perhaps the one I didn't touch though which is most important is each individuals work on facing the darknesses of the mind which are nurtured when we ignore them, and wither under the merest speck of light.

Very interesting post. It occurred to me while reading your sequel, that there are many comparisons that can be made between our beliefs. For instance, in your post, you mention about absolute good and evil are required to exist for their own sake. Christianity teaches that all God’s creations have purpose, and so, without evil, how are we to ensure free will without choice. Another comparison is prayer. We Christians feel the presence of our God when we pray from the heart and when we allow His words to flow through us when given the blessing to do so. It is an indescribably comfort and powerful energy that surges through the very essence of our being. I have not known another sensation to even remotely compare. Much like the feeling you describe of the encompassing warmth of a blanket, such is the experience of being in spiritual contact with our God. You also mentioned that you find yourself somehow enabled to meet your needs as the deities of your faith provide. Again, same holds true for Christians, as we are told to ask and you shall receive. You say that you are theorizing about the positive in darkness. Christian philosophy there is nothing to fear if we are true in our faith of God. And finally, your post demonstrates the truth of facing the darkness of the mind. In reading your post, I have found many similarities to our beliefs, and so the darkness has been destroyed by the light of knowledge. Whether we call Him Buddha or Jesus, whether we seek light or darkness, though the choice of words and names may be different, I’m starting to believe we might all be talking about the same things. In fact, the only major difference I see is that Paganism worships multiple deities, while we Christians only serve our one and only God.
This being said, I would like to offer my opinion about light. You have said we never go into a brightly lit room to calm down; this is not exactly so, for when I am sleeping in the darkness of my room and I have one of my horrific nightmares, every light in that room is snapped on immediately till I am soothed. How about this one; you are just shutting off your bedroom light and getting ready to sleep, but suddenly, you hear a rather loud sound coming from your downstairs living room. I would think it odd one would toddle off to locate the cause of the noise without first turning on as many lights as possible before reaching your destination. Then there is the light so many have reported when returning from a near death experience. Not one mention of the light being anything less than joyful and awesome. I could go on, but I think you catch my point.
