Dear James Edgecombe,
Hello, and welcome to the forum!
Yes, all faiths, non-faiths, created and mainstream faiths are all equal and accepted with the ULC. Regardless of belief system, political, lifestyle, language, culture, gender, or education, each minister is recognized as a unique and respected individual, and a valued member of the ULC, for each minister before being ordained, agreed to adhere to our one tenet of “Do that which is right”.
I am from Canada so I don’t know what to tell you about your driver’s license. In my country, the titles of clergy are not permitted to be added to your license, but it may be different in the United States. As far as legitimacy, yes, you are now an ordained minister with the ULC, and as such can perform all duties granted any clergy. You may represent yourself as a minister both in word and on paper since that is what you are. You may be asked from time to time, to submit proof of your status, but a simple purchase of your certificate of that status can provide such proof. Others may require a bit more proof than that, and request a “Letter of Good Standings” from our church. This too may also be purchased from our store. Such things may become necessary when presiding over matters that concern legalities, such as weddings for example.
So again, welcome, I look forward to sharing your views.
God’s blessings,
Rev. Campbell.
