A fellow friend of ours - a minister in need - has been going through some tough times. His life has been complicated over the years - Complicated by the actions of others, the stresses of the world, the social behaviors of the unenlightened. He has been the recipient of much discourse. The victim of both hate and misunderstanding. His lifestyle and religious beliefs, and many like him, have been unjustly persecuted over the years, and as a result he must each day fight anew to help his people and his own self.

Friends - regardless of your personal beliefs - your personal regard - your personal politics - please join me in praying for peace for our friend.

We pray today to our God that Gary and his neighbors seek positive resolution to their conflicts. We ask our God to provide wisdom to both Gary and his neighbors. To grant them an understanding of who each person is. To accept each other as they are, as children of our God.

God please grant peace to these people of Fair Lawn, and to people of all communities who at times find themselves at odds. We ask that they seek both your guidance and understanding. Please God, allow all communities to join in a resolution of matters which cause such conflict. God we ask that you grant all persons the ability to see and accept each other for who they are, and what they can be. We ask that our eyes be shown the way of love, and they be cast in our own direction before we judge others.

God we pray that all who come in contact with each other seek peaceful resolution and understanding - that each of us can find a way to accept the individual as your child, and to resolve within ourselves, our own misconceptions, negative thoughts, and hatred. We seek in your name, oh God, that we can be a vessel of peace, love, and understanding. We pray that we too can uphold your highest expectations. That we can be the leaders you wish us to be - in acceptance of each others beliefs, and faith system.

God please help us to be each others loving servant, in your name.

Great Spirit, Creator, God, Spirit of the Universe, enlighten us to the Tok`ahe' Wakan Is`na'la, the Creative Mystery of all that is, is not, and is yet to be, that in every event there is an opportunity to learn a lesson and to hear a message. Grant us the clarity to see our true selves in the relecting pool of Your wisdom, the wisdom to learn the lesson and hear the message with open ears and humble heart. And with the wisdom You impart to each of us, help us share it wth our brothers and sisters in the spirit of goodwill, love, and peace, seeking not our own desires and motives, but what is deemed just for all by Your Will. Illuminate our minds to Your Will and to the knowledge that in all things, Your Will will be done. And, as we walk our journey on this Ina Maka, our Mother Earth, that You will guide us down the Mani wakan wo'wa`hwa, the Sacred Path of Peace.....Ha'u!.....To`na Wanagi
