Welcome to the ULC Monastery General Forum. It is our collective hope that you will find this to be a safe, open place for round table discussion and that, in the process you are able to network & make some friends along the journey.. The ULC Monastery through our Forums and other avenues, attempts to provide a vehicle of free speech and thought on all fronts, issues and from all perspectives. We encourage each of you to join in on these discussions. We encourage each of you to do so with a sincere attempt to ensure that you present yourselves, your opinions & cases of interests in a respectful way and avoid overt "verbal volleyball matches," "wars," "personal attacks" and the like... Should we deem it appropriate "threads" or posts which are antagonistic or prejudice in nature will be deleted/closed.
This being said, we do not simply want to avoid or steer clear of posts which may be challenging or even uncomfortable to some people on an individual level. After all our differences of opinion, our various belief systems, our various backgrounds, etc., help us to learn from one another, grow in our views, and increase in our openness. We may not each necessarily agree/subscribe with all posts/opinions which may be presented on our forums & the various sections therein. Further, individual member posts do not automatically reflect the opinion of the ULC as an organizational entity.
We do believe, however, that there is a voice for all people which deserves to be heard; so long as that voice does not threaten to silence the equal rights, equal voice and respectability of all persons to share this great earth we inhabit.]
We encourage each of you to post away! Express your thoughts, your ideas, your feelings & your opinions! We encourage you, however, to do so in respect and open mindedness of each other.
Challenge yourselves & each other! Debate! Ponder! Grow! And Love each other in the process!
