Good Morning to All.

So I am seeking your input, guidance, and opinion. I am going to formulate a series of Sermons based on of all things the Alphabet. I hope to have a biweekly event.

Please provide, if you you shall be so inclined, an understanding of your belief of the word outlined below by letter, and how it relates to your religious beliefs. (It would be nice if you also indicate your Core Belief -- i.e. Christian; Satanism, Natural Law; Hinduism; etc...)

The purpose of this request is not to stimulate argument or debate. In fact I hope it will more so create an understanding of how we are all so much alike in our beliefs, albeit we may use different means to get there and our definitions of how things are related may differ.

So here is the list - chose one , some, or all, and in no particular order. Thank you in advance to all those who participate.

(Note your participation will constitute your permission to be quoted or referenced in any future thesis or publication of sermon I may create as a result.)

As they relate to YOUR belief and religion:

A = Accountability
B = Beliefs
C = Church / Chapel / Congregation
D = Death
E = Eternal
F = Faith
G = God
H = Heaven
I = Involvement
J = Jesus
K = Kinetics
L = Love
M = Marriage
N = Newborn
O = Oppression
P = Preaching
Q = Heterosexuality / Homosexuality / Abstinence
R = Reborn
S = Satan
T = Tests
U = Understanding
V = Virginity
W = Woman's role
X = Crosses to bare
Y = Questions we ask
Z = Animal's role

That is the list of topics. I know some eyebrows were raised as to which letters some words were placed under. I can assure you all were chosen with full respect of others and lifestyle choices. My sermons will hopefully touch base on both the accepted and unaccepted attitudes of our culture - and how words mean different things to many - but the same maybe to God. More importantly how words can be both helpful and hurtful. How something strange to some, is considered normal to others.

And yes, some may feel offended that I would even suggest such subjects. But let me state - it is through such discussions that we will all come to terms with what is reality and what is truth, as it is believed by us and others. To ignore the obvious in an attempt to be politically correct is at the same time rude to our fellow humans. It says we do not trust their intelligence enough to make up their minds without prejudice.

Again thank you to all that participate. Please reply herein:

"I arrived at my beliefs through reasoning. This means that you arrived at your position through thought. Becoming an atheist through skepticism or a Christian by studying theology or anything of the sort. If on your own you sought out and changed your beliefs choose this. If you were convinced through proselytizing and later reasoned it out DO NOT choose this one. If you were born in a religion and later reasoned it out DO NOT choose this either."

This is flawed, because reasoning isnt the only kind of thought. I arrived at the position of agnostic atheism because I have understood what my faith was at the time I was a christian and realized that both logic and faith as well as personal experience lead me to this position. It can easily be changed.

B = Beliefs - When the judgement day comes and we are held accountable for our life, we will not be judged for what we believe, rather we shall be judged for our deeds. There is too much emphisis made on beliefs. As if we think that if we have the correct beliefs then we are saved and if we have the wrong beliefs we are damned. Where did we ever get that idea?

I am not happy with my answer here and have chosen to delete it.
