I am a person who follows the gods of ancient greece and try to recreate the religion to modern standards and practice it like it was in the time of the ancients. Minus the animal sacrifice of course.

Hi okay I have added that on my list of religions to look up. Sense you’re talking about Ancient Greece Have you ever studied “The Kybalion” in which talks about Hermes Trismegistus and the Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece. It’s an interesting study one of my favorites.

ah describing the nocturnal current....now there's a task. We are similar to the shadow waker tradition where you explore your inner darkness balancing it with the light, we are similar to gothic paganism in the sense of our use of symbolism, and acceptance of therianthropy, and sanguinarians. We are similar to anton laveys group in our beleif of meritocracy, and similar to many other religions. We are all together something different. We are dedicated to the gods of Ancient Sumeria and certain other greek, norse, roman, egyptian, indian, and celtic deities which all share a common thread. We work for powerful internal change, and reject the worlds theories on many subjects instead finding peace in a combination of logic, intuition, and emotion. We deal with the dark god, and goddess (deities representing death, rebirth solar, and lunar energies, and other powerfully transformational energies). So in a word we are progress I think that word would be appropriate here. Hope this helps our website is www.freewebs.com/theorderofnightsembrace check out the church articles they give advice on how to live nocturnally. It is a very complicated subject, and requires the appropriate time, and care to explain. I love it

Would the Kybalion be one of the mystery cults involving hermes? I have not looked into the mystery cults very much and i do not know very much about hermes so with those two things stacked on tope of each other i am far from understanding it. Also it seem that it is an eclectic philosophy, and while i recognize that all pantheons do exist i prefer to stick my self to the greeks and the greeks alone. but this is another thing i will be looking up thank you.
