PriestessGwendolyn
hello my name is Gwendolyn and I'm new here. I found this site yesterday when I was in religion class and decided to be a minister so that I could help my friends and family with their weddings and such. I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you and all that good stuff. I'm twenty years old, I'm engaged to a wonderful man and I speak some spanish and i'm in college. My religious background is odd I think but i'll explain. I was brought up southern baptist in North Carolina, which is where I am now. When I was twelve years old I rejected the religion and began a study and pursuite of wicca which continued on till I was about seventeen years old. I then was saved again in the name of the Lord Jesus though I have my own beliefs that do not stand to pass in my southern baptist community, I'm more closely related to a Sikh. I believe in reincarnation, I also believe in spirits, my mother is part cherokee so I hold that close to my heart as well. I believe in magick to an extent and that all of our actions involve karma and that nothing is by chance.

So basically I have so varied beliefs but I'm glad I found this website, thanks!

Dear Priestess Gwendolyn,

Hello, and welcome to the forum!
It sounds as though you will fit in here very well, as all the religions and belief systems you have mentioned are represented here, along with a quiet a few more you might not even be aware of. I say this because we have some ministers here who follow religions and philosophies of their own creation right beside those who subscribe to mainstream devotions.
The important part is that all are free to practice whatever system they wish, and need not fear ridicule or persecution here. All systems are viewed and respected equally in the ULC, and because this is so, we all have the benefit and privilege of sharing and learning from each other.
There may be debate and discussion, but all ministers have agreed to maintain our one tenet of “do that which is right”, and so, respect, tolerance, patience, understanding, love, and harmony are highly valued.
So again, welcome, I look forward to sharing your thoughts! smile.gif

God’s blessings,

Rev. Campbell.

I see you have pronounced MPrD; Multiple Personal religious Discoveries are the norm for this forum and I see that you already fit in.

I would like to also welcome you to this forum. Please feel free to express incites and opinions and enjoy the incites and opinions of those others here as well. Life is a learning situation and though sometimes we annoy ourselves we try to do so with out much malicious intent. There will be those that disagree with anything and everything you say in the forum but rest assured that generally it is not everyone on everything at any given time.

Welcome to the forum.
