Order of Worship: Memorial Day
Praise Offering:
**My country, ‘tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing!
Land where my fathers died; land of the pilgrim’s pride;
From every mountainside let freedom ring!
Oh Lord, our God, arise; scatter our enemies and make them fall! Confound their politics, frustrate their navy’s ships;
On Thee our hopes we fix; Lord, hear our call!
Our father’s God, to Thee, author of liberty, to Thee we sing!
Long may our land be bright with freedom’s holy light;
Protect us by Thy might, great Lord, our King!
Glory Offering:
**Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lighting of His terrible, swift sword;
His truth is marching on!
(Refrain) Glory, glory, Hallelujah! Glory, glory, Hallelujah!
Glory, glory, Hallelujah! His truth is marching on!
I have seen Him in the watch fires of a hundred circling camps;
They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
They proclaim His righteous sentence by their dim and flaring lamps;
His Word is marching on!
(Refrain)
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the nations now before His judgment seat;
Oh, be swift my soul to answer Him, be jubilant my feet;
With God go marching on!
(Refrain)
Sin Offering:
**A mighty fortress is our God, A bulwark never failing!
Our helper, He amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing!
But still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great and, armed with cruel hate,
On Earth is not his equal.
***Though we have sinned we trust in God to save us from tempter.
He spoils us and spares the rod; He came to Earth redemptor!
We ask His blood to cleanse the sins of us, His friends;
We’ll follow Him in death, but may our final breath
Praise Him for His redemption!
***Oh God, the Father and the Son and Spirit one in Heaven,
For us You died, the victory won; make us the salt of leaven;
To raise Your Name unto all You would have us to;
Forgive us all our sin that we may enter in
The glory of Your Kingdom!

Sermon
Presentation Offering: Narrative: John 6
**Oh beautiful; for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain,
For purple mountains majesty, above the fruited plain;
America, America; God shed His Grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!
Oh beautiful; for pilgrim feet, with stern impassioned stress,
A thoroughfare for freedom beat across the wilderness;
America, America; God mend thine every flaw;
Consume thy soul with self control, thine liberty in law!
Oh beautiful; for patriot’s dreams that see beyond the years,
Thine alabaster cities gleam undimmed by human tears;
America, America; God shed His Grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea!
Prayer Offering: (Please Stand) “Our Father…”
Peace Offering: (Please Be Seated After The Peace Offering)
**Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me;
Let there be peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be!
With God as Our Father, brothers all are we;
Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony!
Let there be peace on Earth, let this be the moment now!
With every step I take let this be my solemn vow:
To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally;
Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me!
Communion Offering: Narrative: Luke 22: 14-20
**Oh say; can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twighlight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there!
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes;
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beams
And in glory reflected now shines on the streams
‘Tis the star-spangled banner and long may she wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
O thus be it ever when free men shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation!
Blessed with victory and peace may our heaven rescued land
Praise the power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, if our cause it be just;
And may this be our motto: “In God We Trust!”
Then the star-spangled banner oh long may she wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
Testimony Offering. Anyone is welcome to share testimony.
Incense Offering:
**Eternal Father, strong to save, whose arm hath stirred the restless wave; Who bids the mighty oceans deep their own appointed limits keep; Oh hear us as we cry to Thee for those in peril on the sea!
***Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, ‘tis through thy wounds our victory’s won; Watch o’er our sons as they march on cross foreign soil through falling bombs; And keep them, by thy shepherd’s hand, from every peril on the land!
**Oh Spirit, whom the Father sent to spread abroad the firmament;
Oh Wind of Heaven, by Thy might save all who dare to take to flight;
And Keep them in Thy watchful care from every peril in the air! AMEN!
Benediction Offering: Luke 2:29-32 “Lord, now You let Your servant go in peace; Your Word has been fulfilled! My own eyes have seen the salvation which You have prepared in the sight of every people; a light to reveal You to the nations and the glory of Your people Israel!
(Minister) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit…
(Congregation) “As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever…AMEN”
Praise Offering:
**Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war;
With the cross of Jesus going on before;
Christ, our royal master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, see His banner go!
(Refrain) Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war;
With the cross of Jesus going on before!
Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod;
We are undivided; all one body, we;
One in many doctrines; One in charity!
(Refrain)
***Crowns and thrones may perish, wars may come and go;
Constant will His love be, though our sins be low;
Mercy and forgiveness, peace and hope He brings;
May all creeds and races, His sweet promise sing!
(Refrain)
