Full Version: Getting to know God.
Universal Life Church Monastery > Spirituality > Spiritual Corner

God, is in every living thing in the Universe. God, the Creator, is the God of the living. The "Light of Life."
In every living thing in the Universe, from any living thing smaller than the atom to the largest planetoid object, there is a, "Spark of Life." That, "Spark of Life," is a part of God. It has all the knowledge needed to make whatever it is in, do what is needed to work with everything else in the Universe to keep a balanced order in this material and the Spiritual Universe. (Heaven) In essence, we are in the God within us.
Jesus knew this. He tried to tell of this, but they didn't understand. Jesus tried many ways to foreward this information, but, it was way over their heads. And it appears to be way over the heads of most people today.
Jesus knew that to get close to God, you had to give yourself whole heartedly with all your might and soul. The cleaner you keep your soul the brighter the light within will shine. The brighter the light, the easier to see. (understand) That's why he said, to think about doing wrong is just as bad as doing wrong. Bad thoughts and or actions darken the light within. Bad thoughts, bad actions, equal negative energy. Negative energy equals darkness. Good energy equals light. Love is the best energy. The brightest energy. The more you love, the better you feel. When you are feeling really good love, you glow brightly.
When you glow brightly, you are closer to God. The closer you get to God, the more you KNOW God.
Believing is not the same as knowing. Believing is based on faith. Knowing is based on fact. When you can see the light of God, like Moses and the burning bush, (Light of Life) you KNOW there is a God.

May the Light of God shine in you.

Knowing there is a God, gives you a clearer mind to focus your prayers. When you, "KNOW", there is no doubt.

When you pray for someone or something with the belief that there is a God, you are praying with the hope of an answer.

When you pray for someone or something KNOWING there is a God, you KNOW that your prayer will be answered, one way or another, when the time is right. That's where patience and understanding come in.

You must be clear as to what you pray for, because the answer may not be what you expected, but, will be for the best.

God, KNOWS, what is right. For God is the maker of all good things, and all that is right. Not just here on this planet. But, everywhere in the living Universe. For every living thing in the Universe, is part of, God, and is forever, when you are in the knowing. For, I tell you this; every insect that crawleth the Earth, every fish that swims the seas, every fowl that flyeth through the air, and every animal but man, KNOWS that there is a God, and does the will of God.

Mankind, needs constant reminders.

That's why we have ministers, prophets, and the like.

Thank you God, for letting me be the one to pass this knowledge on to mankind.
Amen.

When all of mankind KNOWS that there is a God, and does the will of God, they will be protected from what is to come, in the near future. As it is right now, only a handfull of the population are protected.

Give yourselves to God, with all your heart, all your soul and all your might.
Ask, and you shall receive.
Seek, and you shall find.
Knock, and the door shall be opened.

May the Light of God shine brightly in all so that all may see the truth more clearly.
Amen.

Go by the way of the Lord.

Dear Anobleone/ Reverend Robert,

I am so pleased to see that you have reposted your comments on your own thread. So many times before have I seen ministers attempt to “straighten out” what they perceive is a misconception of other minister’s belief systems. Though well intended, it always appears to me as arrogant and self-righteous. So happy to see you had noticed that, and decided to repost and share your views your way on your own thread. Good work! It is important to the unity and harmony of the ULC that we maintain the rights and respect for each minister’s beliefs, philosophies, or religions. smile.gif

God’s blessings,

Rev. Campbell.

Dear pathmender/Rev. Cambell.

Thank you. And, I'm deeply sorry that you feel that I might be being arrogant or self-righteous. Not the case at all.
I'm just doing my job.

When the Father tells me to, "Gather my children and bring them closer to me", I say, "Yes Father."

Those that hear the call, will answer with joy in their hearts.

When I see one of my Brothers or Sisters ready to step in front of a bus, I try to stop them. If they don't hear me, you "know" what will happen.

When you "know" there is a Father, you "know" it is true and right, to at least try to show the World the truth. But.
I can bring you something to drink, but, I can't make you drink it.
My eyes are not full of lumber. I see quite clearly what the Father wants revealed when we are together. We're together quite often. For, I am lost without him. He "knows" that I want to be home with him. And, He "knows" that I "know" that I can come home when my job is done. I would like it to be another fourty or fifty years, but, that's my will and not his. His will be done, as it is, always has and always will be.

Amen.

May you see the light of everlasting life as I see it so that we can ALL share his glory.

Blessed be you, Rev. Campbell. And may all your days be filled with God's love as mine are.

Love

Rev. Robert.

Dear Rev. Robert,

I think perhaps I was not clear in my communication with you. If you re-read my post, I spoke of other ministers who, with arrogance and self-righteousness, had posted their well-intended corrections to another’s belief system. I had wrote to congratulate you on noticing that you could post your own thread, as the other gentleman’s thread you first posted on was not of the same faith you that you subscribe to. I assumed you had noticed this on your own and decided to repost and share your beliefs on a new thread.
The forum is open, and welcomes all faiths and beliefs. This is why we have a “Spiritual Corner” in the first place. It is a chance for all of us to share our own beliefs without the fear that we may be mocked or have our faiths or beliefs discredited. We expand our knowledge and understanding for these different philosophies, and thereby increase tolerance and promote harmony. Though we may not agree with certain beliefs, this is ok. We are not asked to subscribe to any other belief than are own. But the same is true of others for their faith as well.
So in short dear Brother, do not feel sorry that I thought you arrogant/self-righteous, as I in fact did not. Once I seen you had started your own thread to share, I knew this was not the case, and the reason I praised your efforts.
I know you are new, but you will find many such miscommunications in time. Writing on a forum to others, without benefit the usual cues of facial expression, tone, inflection, or body language, often leads to misunderstandings. Throw in things like spelling, grammar, punctuation, language and culture; it is surprising that there are not constant mishaps.
Anyway, glad you decided to share, and thank you for letting your feelings known. It helps in preventing needless hurt and disharmony. smile.gif

God’s blessings,

Rev. Campbell.
