I have been browsing through the ULC website for awhile and have failed to see anything about Satanists. Or have I missed something? Satanism is a real religion. The official Church of Satan has a great website that explains what they believe and what doctrines they follow. It is not what most people think it is. I think they should have a place in the ULC also. Thanks for listening. Comments appreciated.

Now you are here, so post whatever information you wish. But be prepared to be critiqued by others on this board. yes satanism is a real religion. i also commend you for searching up the site. there could be more on it on this site, but it is what it is. keep in mind though that in 1975 levey turned it into a form of self expression, and gilmore is still trying to keep with the old and continue the new. it has a ways to go before it reaches new heights

I'm a theistic Satanist so slightly diffrent from a COS Satanist

You know Satanist much like Hypnotist ( I am and Evil Hypnotist )(Sinister Laugh ) have been misunderstood for years as there is many misconceptions on both. Even those who are not of the Christian religion including some Atheist I know have pre-conceived ideas of Satanist.

I was going to write the ULC Guide to Divinity has something about Satanist but I just checked online and my Guide to Divinity book. If it would make you feel better they also don’t have a section for Scientology (I use to go to a Scientology Church but they got to pushy so I quit) I didn’t see anything on Hermits either. Hermes Trismegistus has been around long before most religions. But yet I seen religious in there I never heard of.

My suggestion is that you take the time to educate us on Satanism. I want to learn the basics on all religious. I don’t consider myself religious I consider myself spiritual. However when dealing with people I would like to have at least a basic understanding of there faith and beliefs.

I am going to suggest you write a forum on Satanist and Their Beliefs so we can learn about it. As will I would suggest that you place a suggestion in the correct forum about adding it to their studies. Sincerely Reverend Penny

To be fair to the ULC, there are so many diffrent religions and variations of religons that to have a complete list in their guide to divinity would be near impossible. In Satanism alone there are many diffent variations and denominations, it's easy to get confused especilly if each group is saying they are the real satanists lol. I think the ULC have just stuck to the religions that are most common.

What's great about this forum; is the ability to post a topic to ask particualr followers of the religon the questions you want answerd.

I started to explore Wicca and things and there were so many variety like each book had different traditions and beliefs they were all still around the same basic tenets of Wicca but I found it just really hard to understand but totally loved alot of there beliefs especially about Nature.
