Praise Offering:
(Refrain) **Lift high the cross, the love of Christ proclaim;
‘Til all the world adore His sacred name!
Come, Christians, follow where our Savior trod;
Our King, victorious, Christ the Son of God! (Refrain)
Led on their way by this triumphant sign,
The Hosts of God in conquering ranks combine! (Refrain)
Oh, Lord, once lifted on the tree of pain,
Draw all the world to seek you once again! (Refrain)
Sin Offering: Psalm 51 (Musical Setting)
* (Refrain) “Be Merciful, Oh Lord, For We Have Sinned;
“Be merciful, oh Lord, for we have sinned…”
Glory Offering:
**Let all mortal flesh keep silent and in sin and sorrow stand,
Ponder nothing earthly minded for, with blessing in His hand,
Christ our God to Earth ~descended~, our full homage to demand.
King of Kings, yet born of Mary, as of old on Earth He stood;
Lord of Lords in human vesture, in the body and the blood;
He will give to all the ~faithful~ His own self for heavenly food.
Rank on rank, the Host of Heaven spread its vanguard on the way;
As the light of light descended from the realms of endless day;
That the powers of hell be ~vanquished~, and the darkness clear away.

(Congregation) As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be
forever…AMEN.

Our God sent to us a sign His wrath is now benign,
His love, for us divine; our God is an awesome God! (Refrain)
Our God gave us all this meal, that we, His love might feel,
In bread and wine we’re healed; our God is an awesome God! (Refrain)
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Remember to take a little extra time, in this blessed season, to reflect on the gift God has given us through the suffering His Son endured for our salvation. Though He raised others from death, He did not shrink from the death God planned for Him; He may have prayed that it might pass from Him, but He did not save Himself even though He could have. Before we celebrate His death and resurrection, let us make one final attempt to sacrifice ourselves for our friends; reach out with a meal invitation, reach out with a helping hand, reach out with a kind word. You may be surprised at how a loving deed can bring to life again even the most tempered and tried soul that lies in death and despair.
As always, I am here to serve you in whatever way I can.
Michael
