**Public Doman lyrics.
***Composed by minister.

Praise Offering:

**We gather together to sing the Lord’s praises;
He chastens and hastens His will to make known!
The wicked, oppressing, now cease from distressing,
Sing praises to His name He forgets not His own!
Beside us, to guide us, our God, with us joining,
Whose Kingdom calls all to the love which endures;
So, from the beginning the fight we were winning,
You, Lord, were at our side, all glory be Yours!
We all now extol You, oh leader triumphant;
And pray that You still our defender will be!
Let Your congregation escape the tribulation;
Your name be ever praised for setting us free!
Glory Offering:

**Let all things now living a hymn of thanksgiving
To God their creator triumphantly raise;
Who fashioned and made us, protected and stayed us
By guiding us on to the end of our days!
God’s banners are o’er us, His light goes before us
A pillar of fire shining forth in the night;
‘Til shadows have vanished and darkness is banished
As forward we travel from light into light!
His law He enforces; the stars in their courses,
The moon in its orbit obediently shines!
The valleys and mountains, the rivers and fountains,
The depths of the ocean proclaim Him divine!
We, too, should be voicing our hymns of rejoicing
In glad adoration a song let us raise!
‘Til all things now living unite in thanksgiving
To God in the highest: Hosanna and praise!

Sin Offering:

**Just as I am without one plea but that Thy Blood was shed for me;
And You now bid me to Thee come, oh Lamb of God I come; I come!

Just as I am, ***a sinner low; from mother’s womb You watched me grow!
Led on by love You lead me home, oh Lamb of God I come; I come!

Just as I am ***so stained with sin, Your Mercy now I beg from Him;
His Blood the gift forgiveness is from, oh Lamb of God I come; I come!

Word Offering: (New Revised Standard Version)

Old Testament Readings: Nehemiah 8: 1 - 4a, 5 – 6, 7b - 12
Psalm 98 (Musical Setting)

(Refrain) *Sing a new song unto the Lord

New Testament Readings: 1 Corinthians 12: 1 - 11
Gospel: Luke 2: 41 - 52
Faith Offering:

Luke 1: 68 – 75 “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, He has come to His people and set them free! He has raised up for us a mighty savior, born of the house of His servant David! Through His holy prophets he promised of old that He would save us from our enemies, from the hands of all who hate us! He promised to show mercy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant! This was the oath He swore to our father Abraham: to set us free from the hands of our enemies; free to worship Him without fear, holy and righteous in His sight all the days of our life!”

(Minister) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit…

(Congregation) “As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever…AMEN”

Prayer Offering: The response is: “Lord, hear our prayer…”

Presentation Offering: John 6: 32-33, 35, 37-40, 47-51, 53-58.

**Make me a channel of Your peace…
Where there is hatred let me bring your love;
Where there is so much sin, Your pardon Lord;
And where there’s doubt true faith in You!
Make me a channel of Your peace…
Where there’s despair in life let me bring hope;
Where there is darkness only light;
And where there’s sadness ever joy!
Oh Master, grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love with all my soul!
Make me a channel of your peace…
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
In giving of ourselves that we receive,
And in dying that we’re born to eternal life!

Prayer Offering: (Please Stand) “Our Father…”

Peace Offering: (Please Be Seated After The Peace Offering)

Communion Offering: Luke 22: 14-20

**Amazing Grace; how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me;
I once was lost but now am found; was blind, but now I see!

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come;
‘Tis grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home!

Testimony Offering. Anyone is welcome to share testimony.

Incense Offering: “Praise God from whom all blessings flow…
“Praise Him all creatures here below…
“Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts…
“Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! AMEN!”

Benediction Offering: Luke 2:29-32 “Lord, now You let Your servant Go in peace; Your Word has been fulfilled! My own eyes have seen the salvation which You have prepared in the sight of every people; a light to reveal You to the nations, and the glory of Your people Israel!”

(Minister) Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit…

(Congregation) “As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever…AMEN”

Praise Offering:

**Oh God, our help in ages past, our hope in years to come;
Our shelter in the stormy blast and our eternal home!

Under the shadow of Your wings Your faithful dwell secure;
Sufficient is Your arm alone and our defense is sure!

***As Christ Your Word did once attend and in the temple teach,
So we go forward now in love to practice what we preach!
