Hi everyone. I'm feeling pretty low these days and could really use some help. I've been diagnosed with prostate cancer (surgery coming in January), and last month my father, who was my best friend, died. I have 3 young kids, so I'm holding it together, but it's really tough. I'm finding it hard to get out of bed and go to work, stay on top of the bills, work around the house, etc. I'm lucky in many ways, but it's kind of hard to remember that sometimes. And I'm just really low. Prayers and good thoughts appreciated.

Dear David,

I am so sorry for your for your pain and fears. What a strong and courageous man you must be. You obviously have many gifts and blessings to demonstrate such courage and faith at such a time. I have prayed for continued blessings and for the blessing of God’s mercy. I have prayed that God’s presence bring you comfort and peace.
Have faith dear David, never give up and keep your hope strong. God loves you so much, and with your love for Him, remember anything is possible. Keep fighting those little voices that try to defeat you with doubt and fear. You are doing an excellent job. Just look at your children for proof and know, God has been with you the whole time and always will be.
