Hello everyone. My name is James, I'm 21 years old from Georgia (USA). Since as long as I can remember I've liked to study religion, all religion. I just recently got the net, being eager to find other open minded Christians I quickly gravitated towards community boards. Although I found great diversity, understanding of the processes of "Newbies" learning of God and his people came short. I found this board and skimmed a bit, and from what I see this is a great board for personal growth (well in my case, I hope). And I look forward to meeting you all.
I just did the free ordinations and plan to buy some of the packs you have on the site in the near future. I don't rely see myself ever becoming a "True" minister though, I just wish to learn more about God, people, and how we can all group together on the basic laws God build in our very essence.
Anyways guys I love what you've done here. It seems like the first real Internet community in history. I wish you all the best and God Bless you.
PS: I've seen a lot of great discussion here and even more understanding. This is rare in the real world so imagine my belief when I stumbled on this board!

Welcome James. I'm sort of seeking the same things as you. Hope to be able to discuss some things with you, and get going on this giant job we have of healing the world!

Oh please do excuse my manners; I would like to introduce myself to both of you. I am Reverend Jack
I was ordained through the ULC back in 1995. And I've found that this is a very warm and friendly place to visit. I personally appreciate knowing that the doors are open 24 hours a day. Although I should warn you both, just so you know. If you post a question in these message boards, it may very well get answered. So I would suggest that you should be prepared for that while understanding, the answer{s} may or may not be to your liking or from within the confines of your own beliefs, religious or otherwise. Then again, they may very well be.
Having said that, Please feel free to browse around and familarize yourself with the site and all that it has to offer. And please dont hesitate to stop in and say hello or ask others or myself for help if ever there is anything you need. After all, the reason I'm here is to help guide others like you along your path.
Welcome to The Universal Life Church Monastery
May you enjoy your stay enough to visit again another day
Respectfully
Reverend Jack

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. By the way FreeandWandering, I've already asked RevJack too many questions and have got answers to them all! So he isn't kidding when he says he'll answer. Although after asking some questions I found them somewhere on the site

(in the age of instant gratification sometimes I jump ahead of myself. Patience is another thing I'm trying to learn lol)
Thanks for the Help RevJack.
