Full Version: Hypothetical Question: Should Human Sacrafice Be Tolerated?
Universal Life Church Monastery > Spirituality > Comparative Religions
Reverend Baby Jason
Should people be allowed to sacrafice human beings if their religion says they need to do that? Why or why not?
Sister Kya
Death isn't evil. Coercion and forcing someone to die against their will may very well be...

The matters of life and death according to God are matters of spirit; not the physical body. To take or destroy a life of any creature without "good" cause or reason is against the will of God. "Goodness" relates to the principles of God and the righteousness of God; what is "right" in the eyes and judgment of God. God has never commanded mankind to kill or murder the physical body of another; only the spirit of a person; the evil one; and this by the Spirit of God; the Word of God which is truth.

Reality of the "sword of truth" is the Word of God spoken to those possessing the evil mind and spirit.
