The nature of our experience here on earth would be known as dualism in some circles, with monoism being the experience of reality (spiritual oneness) The term duality, refers to the way we experience ourselves here...it seems we see ourselves as split in two, with both voices seemingly fighting for our attention and control. This is civil war...against ourself. This will make everything in our world look like an ally or an enemy, and we judge this distinction through an ancient memory, not facts or reality.

Yes, we experience ourselves as two here, but our reality remains unified, with all Oneness. Our divisions between what seems good and what seems bad are faulty, based upon fears, worries, hatreds, preferences, and wild-eyed thinking. To make matters slightly more difficult, the two voices duking it out over our direction are both insane, and both made up. For any voice that engages in combat, is NOT the voice of Spirit, but is the voice of wishful thinking.

Spirit but waits until the din of battle has dimmed some, and offers the gleaming truth: This need not be!

Listening to the quiet voice brings peace and wisdom. Listening to the clarion voices of one's frightened, angry self perpetuates war and insanity. There is a way out, and none of the crazy voices will guide you in the right direction, for it was those voices we used to see an illusionary world that but reflects what is going on in our own mind.

There is a quiet voice within you that simply responds over and over, You are a child of God, and I Love You, and I will always be with you, guiding you to your own, holy Self.

Blessings and Light, Baehron

And so we hear voices in our world, some nice and some quite nasty, prejudiced, weak, angry, pitiful. Because we can't believe we would 'talk' to ourselves this way, we give the voices 'faces from the past'. This way, it seems like your 'enemy' is judging you, and then in righteous indignation, we respond to the voice as if it was spoken to us by another. But it is your words, your voice that is doing all the talking.

All the people in our world, but give to us what we already expect to hear from them, for in our world, that is their purpose. To use your brothers this way is seen within as 'not right' and so we continue to judge ourselves harshly, experiencing guilt and fear in all we do, in all our relationships.

The nature of our spiritual paths is to re-unite with our One Self, which is the 'RELATIONSHIP', and the one that reconciles all the voices, all the disparate beliefs, and allows peace to be born within a world that so desperately needs it.
The other voices never really go away, but one can learn to let them have their say, use their ideas if it fits in with God's plan, and let go of that which will never work. It takes practice and willingness to hear only One Voice, but to be sure, any voice that contradicts, judges, tells you what it really is, puts down another, puts down your self, is fearful, worried or angry, etc. is NOT the voice of spirit, but is the voice of ego. Do not listen to the crazy stuff, it can be done.

Love and Light, Baehron

One of the ways to begin listening for the Quiet Voice (of Love, of Reason, of Wisdom) is to begin deciding only for your best; for the best outcome instead of the one you seem to want. It may seem unlikely that what you want isn't what is best for you, but judging fairly the outcome of your own decision making should be enough to show you that you don't always want what's best for you.

Do I or anybody else know what is best for you? NO! but the Voice within you does. When faced with a decision, turn it over to this Voice, reminding yourself that you want what is best for you. The Voice will remind you that this means everybody will be better off by your decision (win-win).

Your own part in this practice, is to let go of the need to speak or act without guidance hastily, and to ask yourSelf, "What do I want to be the outcome of this?"

If you want peace and solvation of your problem, then let Peace be your guide. Anger(war) sometimes seems to solve our problems, but does it really? Violence is no different. You may get what you want...initially, but it comes with the seed of guilt due to the act of war to obtain it. This is an uneasy peace, which is not peace at all. While travelling down this road, it must be remembered that this is still the path you are deciding on, not the world. Your problem, whatever you percieve it to be, can be solved in such a way that the problem is really solved, not just repressed.

The nature of the world is not to show you your true self, but to show you an illusionary self, one filled with weakness and darkness, and the world approves of this self concept. Do not look into the world for your answers, the answer of God and Light is not there. It is found within, where your innocence and holiness is still complete and waiting for your acceptance. Why wait?

Blessings and Light, Baehron
